Number fonts for lists, prices and dates
Fancy numbers make a list or a price stand out in a post where you can't format text. Bold numbers like 𝟓𝟎% work inside a sentence, circled numbers ① ② ③ number the steps of a how-to, and superscript numbers ¹²³ mark footnotes or a squared unit like m².
Like the letter fonts on this site, these numbers are separate Unicode characters, so they keep their style when you copy and paste them.
Circled numbers up to 50
Unicode has a single circled character for every number from 0 to 50, a black circled one from 0 to 20 and double-circled numbers from 1 to 10. The generator uses the single character when your number is in range, so 12 becomes ⑫ rather than ①②. Larger numbers are built from circled digits.
The same goes for numbers in brackets ⑴ to ⒇ and numbers with a full stop ⒈ to ⒛, which suit numbered lists.
Roman numerals and numbers in other languages
The Roman numeral styles convert whole numbers from 1 to 3999, so 2026 becomes MMXXVI. The Romans had no zero, so 0 is left as it is. There are three versions: plain capital letters, which work everywhere, and the dedicated Unicode numeral symbols in capitals and lowercase.
The other-languages group writes the same digits in Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Bengali, Thai and Chinese numerals, the way they're written in those languages.
FAQ
How do I type circled numbers?
Type the numbers in the box above and tap the circled numbers style. Numbers up to 50 become a single circled character, like ㊿.
How do I write 2026 in Roman numerals?
MMXXVI: M is 1000, so MM is 2000, then XX for 20 and VI for 6. Type any whole number up to 3999 above to convert it.
Can I use number fonts in my Instagram bio?
Yes. Bold, circled, superscript and keycap numbers all paste into Instagram bios, captions and comments.
What's the difference between bold and outline numbers?
Bold numbers 𝟏𝟐𝟑 are thicker versions of normal digits. Outline numbers 𝟙𝟚𝟛 are double-struck, drawn with a hollow line, the way blackboard bold is written in maths.
Why does my number turn into keycap emoji?
The keycap style adds two characters after each digit that tell phones to draw it as an emoji key, like 1️⃣. Pick a different style if you want plain digits.
